Water sports - Beach / Bathing Area

Sainte-Maxime
In the heart of Sainte-Maxime, the downtown beach facing south, offers a superb view of Saint-Tropez and its bell tower.
Convenient and easily accessible, you can walk down to the beach and find shade in the pine forest at midday. A beach where you can combine swimming, shopping, and festive activities!

Terraces with food are available if you wish.

Two areas along the town's coastline are dog-friendly:

The town center dog beach: this is a section of the town center beach located near the Préconil bridge;

The inland area of Pointe des Sardinaux (except in July and August): this natural site (Sensitive Natural Area) is a popular spot for dogs.

Dogs are prohibited year-round on the town center beaches (except for the aforementioned area), Oursins, Nartelle, Garonnette, and the southern tip of Pointe des Sardinaux.

Dogs must be kept on a leash and their waste must be picked up. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome on all beaches.

The lifeguard station will be open from June 12 to September 13, 2026. Opening hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in June and September, and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM in July and August.
