Take part in the traditional Midsummer's Day procession and share a traditional Provençal meal!
A procession and dawn serenade at the fountains, a mass at the Notre Dame de la Queste Chapel, entertainment, sardine feasts and the lighting of the Saint John’s Fire will take place throughout the evening.

Join us for the traditional Saint John’s Day procession and a traditional Provençal meal!

At 6.00 pm, meet on the town hall forecourt for the arrival of the torch.

The procession will set off from the town hall forecourt at 6.30 pm, carrying the flame. The Provençal mass will take place at Notre Dame de la Queste at around 7.15 pm.

At 7.45 pm: fifes and drums, followed by the singing of ‘COUPO SANTO’ to mark the start of this country-style meal.

This Provençal evening will conclude with a sardine feast, a traditional dish of the Mediterranean regions, offered to all residents of Grimaud by the Town Hall. Don’t forget to bring your own cutlery, glasses and plates (reserved for residents of Grimaud upon presentation of proof of residence).

At 10.00 pm: lighting of the Saint John’s Fire.

Organised by the Association des Feux de la Saint-Jean.
