Grimaud Music Evenings - Ludwig Quartet

For four decades (the ensemble, founded in 1985, celebrated its 40th anniversary), the musicians of the Ludwig Quartet have shared a love of chamber music, which they passionately promote around the world in pursuit of an ever-elusive perfection.
Their interpretations of a repertoire that spans the history of the string quartet, their award-winning recordings, their teaching and their fervent musical commitment make them one of the most internationally acclaimed quartets.

Their travel diary takes them to the Soirées Musicales de Grimaud in Vienna. Through two key works from the repertoire composed by Beethoven and Schubert, they evoke a golden age of the string quartet that symbolises the richness of creativity in this international capital of music.
