Concert - An hour with the organ - Josef-Edwin MILTSCHITZKY

Josef MILTSCHITZKY was born in 1958 in Böhen Waldmühle. He began studying the organ at the age of 16, and continued his musical and organizational studies with Prof. Hans FELLER and Kurt SCHNORR, complemented by studies in Catholic Liturgical Music. In 1980, Josef MILTSCHITZKY began university studies at Munich's Ludwig-Maximilians University, where he obtained degrees in Music Knowledge, Art History and German Language. Three years later, Josef MILTSCHITZKY was appointed organist at Ottobeuren Basilica on the historic RIEPP organ. In the same year, he became Director of the Ottobeuren School of Music and Artistic Director of the Archives and Concerts. In 1984, Josef MILTSCHITZKY obtained his teaching diploma, and in 1991 a master's degree in Psallier Choir Organs. Josef MILTSCHITZKY gives recitals throughout Eastern Europe.
