Château des Garcinières has been an independent family vineyard since 1898.
The estate of 17 hectares of vines has earned its letters of nobility thanks to efforts made for years towards organic farming. Château des Garcinières has been an independent family vineyard since 1898.
The estate of 17 hectares of vines has earned its letters of nobility thanks to efforts made for years towards organic farming.
The motto of the family bears witness to this: "Nature is our guide".
For three centuries, the lands of this former Cistercian monastery have been dedicated to vines, to the delight of the Valentin family, who have run the estate since 1898.
The alley of three-hundred-year-old plane trees that line the road leading to the main house says a lot about the history of this place. At the end of this majestic alley, sits the Provençal country house which bears witness to past centuries. The Valentin family has run the estate for five generations. A pride that the two sisters of the family, Stéphanie and Karine, do not hide, worthy representatives of the Château des Garcinières, a real jewel of Provence. Impregnated with viticulture from their earliest childhood with their father Louis Valentin, it was difficult for them to conceive of another life. Indeed, it is not just a job, but a way of life. Modern winemaking techniques: night harvesting, new vat room and new winemaking equipment allow the production of extremely fine rosé, red and white cuvées. The technique is there, but the team wants above all to work with the greatest respect for nature. Here, the effort is put on round, rich, balanced wines, in line with the will of Stéphanie the operator and Richard, the cellar master.
The Château des Garcinières opens its doors to you all year round, and offers many wine sales and tasting activities, ephemeral events, and rental of a reception room.
