Château Barbeyrolles

Gassin
Château Barbeyrolles produces white, rosé and red wines using organic and biodynamic farming methods. Régine Sumeire manages the estate, representing the third generation of a family of passionate winegrowers since 1977. Paid cellar tours, tastings available.
Régine Sumeire, the third generation of winegrowers in her family, acquired Château Barbeyrolles in 1977. This once-sleeping vineyard required extensive renovation, and after years of work in both the cellar and the vines, the first bottles of Château Barbeyrolles were released in April 1982. In 1985, Régine created Provence’s first pale rosé, the famous Pétale de Rose.
This 12-hectare estate, classified under the Côtes de Provence appellation and ideally located at the foot of Gassin, is a preserved haven on the Saint-Tropez peninsula.
Production is around 40,000 bottles per year across three wine colours, with a majority of rosé. Certified organic since 2005 and biodynamic by Biodyvin since 2022.
