Sainte-Maxime
Marc Steyaert was born in Ghent, Belgium, where his father worked as a chocolatier until 1984 and his grandfather as a pastry chef. A recent college graduate who has loved France since he was a small boy and is passionate about his work, he made the decision to settle in the centre of Sainte-Maxime's historic district in 1984. He converted his space into an authentic vintage store.

Customers may see Marc Steyaert's glassed-in laboratory where he prepares his chocolates every day. Four tempering machines are included, which process 70% dark chocolate, milk chocolate, pure white chocolate, and pralines.

His chocolates come in 55 different varieties and are free of added sugars, fats, preservatives, and chemicals.
He creates delectable nougats using the original recipe, which includes the traditional white with candied and dried fruit, chocolate nougat, and occasionally a surprise nougat.

Indeed, Marc Steyaert is an energetic and creative individual who consistently delights his clients with his painstaking work, elegant presentations, and acute aesthetic sense.

'The impossible is doable' is his mantra!
