On medical prescription, the work of the occupational therapist consists of developing the independence and autonomy of people and their entourage in order to improve their quality of life. It can be called upon when the individual is or feels prevented from fulfilling his or her daily, school or professional life.
To help with this, he sets up prevention, re-education, rehabilitation and therapeutic education actions.

The occupational therapist is a health professional with a state diploma. He intervenes on medical prescription.
His role is to improve the quality of life of people by taking into account the importance of human activity on health.
The person is then considered as the center of a socio-environmental system on which it is possible to act to help him/her to accomplish his/her life.
Occupational therapists work with a varied population, both in terms of age (from pediatrics to geriatrics) and in terms of type (prevention, neurological, traumatological and rheumatological disorders, temporary or permanent motor and/or sensory disabilities, dyspraxia, attentional disorders, psychiatric illnesses, addictology, fallers, cognitive disorders, support related to perinatal care, etc.)
Initially, it is necessary to carry out an evaluation of the person's situation.
Then, it is necessary to propose actions or techniques of prevention, re-education, rehabilitation and therapeutic education.

I graduated from the Institut de Formation en Ergothérapie de Montpellier in 2008.
I have worked in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, nursing homes, psychiatric clinics and retirement homes in several regions.
In order to acquire new skills, I regularly train on specific aspects of my profession.
I am also a trainer in Physical Activity Risk Prevention.
I consult in the health center of Ramatuelle and at home according to the needs expressed in the communes of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez for regular or punctual follow-ups, Hyères, La Londe-les-Maures and Bormes-les-Mimosas for more punctual follow-ups.
