The Sainte-Maxime Golf Course offers one of the most beautiful views of the Bay of Saint-Tropez along a wonderful walk through the garrigue. Nestled between the sea and a cork oak forest, this rather technical course features 18 holes spread across 65 hectares of rolling terrain overlooking the French Riviera and the Var hinterland. Elevated tees, slopes, and water features follow one another along the first 9 holes, which descend toward Sainte-Maxime and then climb back up to the clubhouse. The rest of the course stretches across a plateau from which players can admire the panoramic view of the Maures and Esterel mountain ranges.

The Blue Green Golf Course in Sainte-Maxime stands as an inspiring example of sustainable development in the world of golf. By incorporating wastewater reuse into their daily operations, the City of Sainte-Maxime and the golf course demonstrate that it is possible to combine the enjoyment of the sport with respect for nature and sustainable tourism.

DID YOU KNOW?
Thanks to a partnership with the City of Sainte-Maxime and Veolia, the golf course was the very first in France to stop using drinking water for irrigation and now uses treated wastewater from the treatment plant.
