Tourisme durable

Les Bateaux Verts is committed to a voluntary and comprehensive approach to continuous improvement, based on five key areas:
The satisfaction and safety of our customers and relevant stakeholders
Pollution prevention and respect for the environment
The fulfilment of our employees
Cost control and business sustainability
Commitment to our region and local involvement

Les Bateaux Verts, a responsible player in sustainable mobility:
We operate in the heart of an exceptional region: the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and its
Mediterranean coastline.
Aware of the richness and fragility of this environment, we are committed to playing an active role in its preservation.
Our environmental commitment goes far beyond the choice of propulsion for our vessels. It is reflected in our protection of the marine environment, raising awareness amongst our passengers, the well-being of our staff, a rigorous QSE policy and a strong local presence.
This comprehensive approach makes Les Bateaux Verts a responsible player, fully aware of its role in sustainable mobility today and tomorrow.
The energy transition of our fleet is the culmination of an initiative launched several years ago, based on the implementation of best practices in our day-to-day operations.
It also relies on strong local partnerships: local authorities and ports, which support us in developing onshore infrastructure, and local suppliers, with whom we are tackling the technical challenges associated with the electrification of our engines.
The commissioning of the Espadon III, our first 100% electric vessel, marks the starting point of a gradual modernisation of our fleet, designed with a long-term vision in mind.
Since 2025, this vessel has demonstrated its ability to offer a level of service equivalent to that of a combustion-engine vessel, whilst eliminating noise and odour pollution and vibrations, and significantly reducing our carbon footprint. It thus enhances the comfort of travel, benefiting our passengers, our staff and our environment.
Through its energy transition plan, Compagnie des Bateaux Verts reaffirms its commitment to remaining a pioneer in soft mobility and sustainable tourism within its region.
