Ramatuelle
Launched May 3, 1959, this unique national monument in France was designed by architect Gaston Castel and executed by Marcel Courbier sculptor friend of Jean Moulin.
It is dedicated to the members of the dead special services for France during World War II. It bears in stone the names of network members of the intelligence and espionage against who worked since the fall of 1940 in hiding in occupied France to prepare the operations that led to the liberation of the country.These heroes made by the services of the occupant died shot, beheaded, martyred or in concentration camps.
There are nearly 320 men and women whose names are engraved on the National Memorial
