Our story…

It all began in 2001, born from the vision of Mandy and Ricardo, two young parents inspired by life with their four small children.

At a time when the coastline offered few places designed for families, they imagined a simple, welcoming retreat , where you could eat with your feet in the sand, take your time, and feel right at home.

What started as a small seasonal beach restaurant has grown, over more than two decades, into a vibrant, year-round gathering place for all generations, woven into the memories of those who’ve passed through its doors.

Barco Beach is more than just a restaurant. It’s a laid-back yet elegant seaside destination, a place people return to for sunshine, shared moments, and that timeless holiday spirit, no matter the season.

Our kitchen reflects this spirit: generous, joyful, and sincere. Inspired by our heritage, travels, international roots and the love of good ingredients.
