Saint-Tropez
From Saturday 18 to Saturday 25 April 2026
In 2010, the Saint-Tropez offshore race was created by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez on a course that originally covered more than 900 nautical miles.
Renamed "Au large de Saint-Tropez" in 2017, 2018 and 2020, this event has been open to crews, then to solo sailors since 2015 and to double-handed crews since 2016, with a choice of 400 or 600 nautical mile courses. In 2023, PAPREC becomes the title partner of this beautiful offshore race offering a unique 600 nautical mile course in the Mediterranean. The event is thus renamed "Paprec 600 Saint-Tropez".
Open to IRC-rated yachts, crewed, double-handed and solo, the Paprec 600 Saint Tropez race will start in front of the town of Saint-Tropez.
As every year, after a thorough check of the files and safety equipment of the competing boats, the Race Director, Georges Korhel, will bring the skippers together before the start of the race.
Renowned by all, this event offers a breathtaking course with surprising weather conditions... Enough to attract all offshore enthusiasts! It's a sporting event, and excellent training for professionals and amateurs of Transatlantic racing, with a view to other major events such as the Vendée Globe, the Transquadra, the Figaro, the Route du Rhum, the Transat Jacques Vabre, etc. This event also counts towards the Mediterranean Offshore IRC Championship.
