Considered the largest gathering of healthcare professionals in the world, the World Medical and Health Games (JMMS) will take place this year from June 16 to 23, 2024 in Saint-Tropez. Created in 1978, this event brings together between 1,200 and 1,500 participants from all over the world every year for a week of sporting competition. Competitions are open to all medical professions, enabling athletes of all levels and ages to share their passion for sport.
A total of twenty disciplines are on offer: soccer, tennis, table tennis, padel, judo, cycling, mountain biking, athletics, triathlon, cross-country, half-marathon, pétanque, swimming, open-water swimming, judo, chess, 3x3 basketball, volleyball, badminton and athletic strength.
Combining sport and health, JMMS also offers the opportunity to attend an International Symposium on Sports Medicine, co-chaired by Dr André Monroche, former President of the French Society of Exercise and Sports Medicine, and Pr Xavier Bigard, Medical Director of the International Cycling Union (UCI).
