Stefan Szczesny's "Szczesny, the Saint-Tropez years" exhibition offers a sensitive immersion into the luminous, vibrant world of the artist, deeply marked by this mythical Côte d'Azur location.
Through a selection of works spanning several years, the exhibition reveals how Saint-Tropez was much more than just a setting for Szczesny: it was a true source of inspiration, a territory of freedom and artistic renewal.

The canvases on display celebrate the color, sensuality and vitality of the Tropezian spirit. They include feminine figures, Mediterranean landscapes bathed in light, and still lifes in intense hues. The artist captures the essence of the South: the heat, the sea, the luxuriant vegetation, but also a certain gentle way of life inherited from a long artistic tradition.

Saint-Tropez, once a fishing village and now a cultural mecca frequented by painters and writers, deeply influences Szczesny's work. His work dialogues with this heritage, while at the same time asserting a contemporary pictorial style that is expressive and immediately recognizable.

Through this exhibition, visitors are invited to follow an intimate, almost autobiographical journey, where each painting bears witness to a moment, an emotion or an encounter. "Les années Saint-Tropez" is thus a celebration of the bond between an artist and a place, but also an ode to creation nourished by light, memory and the imagination.
