2nd edition of the "La Moutte entre en scène" festival, from August 21st to 26th, six shows in the sumptuous setting of the palm grove and the courtyard of the Château de la Moutte!

With, among others, the Berthollet sisters and Celtic Legends. The program:

Wednesday August 21: Celtic Legends
Born on the fascinating plains of Connemara in 2001, the Celtic Legends, a leading figure in Irish dance and music who have delighted over a million spectators on stages the world over, are back in France.
From the very first notes, the troupe of 12 dancers will have you dancing and traveling in Ireland, more precisely on the edge of the desert plains of Connemara.
Two hours of breathtaking dance, choreographed to typically Irish rhythms, performed by musicians using traditional instruments (Uileann-pipes, flute, fiddle, Bodhan, guitars, accordion...).

Thursday August 22: Desconcerto
The 12 musicians of the Orquestra de Cambra l'Empordà (27 years of existence and over 2,500 concerts in 47 countries), straight from Catalonia, offer a humorous concert-show combining musical virtuosity, timeless melodies and comedy.
When the curtain opens, the musicians realize that their conductor is absent, and start dreaming of freedom. They play, dance and twirl to scores by Mozart, Vivaldi, Bizet, Rossini and Pachelbel. When the maestro arrives, the battle continues between classical and less conventional versions...
The result is a universal show, hilarious and brilliant, without ever betraying the music.
"Desconcerto", a show to make you love classical music.

Friday August 23: Les Imitatueurs
With their insane talent and corrosive humor, Emma and Thibaud take stock of our country through all the major societal issues that concern the French: ecology, woke culture, identity, feminism, LGBT, insecurity, #meToo...
This is not the pitch for a play, but the History of France in the 2020s, fragmented over so many subjects, through which our two artists will move skilfully and humorously, for 1h30, like tightrope walkers, opposing a nostalgic, backward-looking vision of modern, forward-looking France.
The show takes on everyone in its stride, starting with the iconic Macron couple in a now cult sketch, not forgetting Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Marine Le Pen, the media (Laurent Ruquier & Léa Salamé, Cnews, Pascal Praud and Christine Kelly, BFEM...), but also cinema, French chanson (Jean-Jacques Goldman, Véronique Sanson, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, Charles Aznavour) and, of course, the new generation: Slimane & Vitaa, Julien Doré, Clara Luciani, Christophe Maé, Juliette Armanet and all their little friends.

Saturday, August 24: Camille and Julie Berthollet
Accompanied by their musician acolytes, the concert on this tour is a fireworks display.
Camille and Julie Berthollet are back with a new album and tour, a return to their roots and the essence of their lives, with a program featuring the greatest titles from their core repertoire: classical music and chanson.
From personal, never-before-released versions of Mozart and Chopin to Tchaikovsky, Bach and even Queen, the Beatles and a personal touch - the Berthollet sisters take you on a journey into the world of arrangements under the flame of their bows.
The virtuoso duo offer an intimate version of the most beautiful melodies from Swan Lake, Hallelujah and the theme from the film Gladiator...
Complicity: since the duo's beginnings, this is what fuels and nourishes Julie and Camille Berthollet's music. The two sisters complement each other to perfection.

Sunday August 25: La Truite by Eric Bouvron
Who would have thought that the life of a trout could be so fascinating?
By revisiting the famous melody of Schubert's "The Trout", the five musicians of the Accordzéâm group offer a fresh cascade of musical styles. Éric Bouvron's direction plunges us into a torrent where the soul of classical music meets the instinct of the body.
An initiatory adventure that we'll remember as a hymn to mischief and tolerance... An ocean of good vibes.
"Irresistible. A true delicacy. Le Figaro
"Crazy humor and incredible energy" FIP
"Delicious, cheerful, virtuoso" Radio Classique

Monday August 26: Tribute to Gainsbourg: Je l'aime moi non plus
A polyphonic version of Gainsbourg: 6 characters from the songs of the great Serge take you on a journey through their love lives.
Porte des Lilas station. The bell rings, the doors close. Six singer-musicians and their characters from the songs of the great Serge climb aboard.
Immediate departure, they take you on board the train of their amorous destiny. The songs, rearranged and harmonized for several voices, bring a fresh perspective to this repertoire, a veritable "soundtrack" to life.
Le poinçonneur des Lilas finds the recipe for crazy love when he leaves Paris, Clyde plays with Melody's feelings, Marilou dreams of conquering Elaeudanla Téïtéïa's heart.
In turn, these spirited, tender, zany and always moving cross-fertilizations re-enchant Gainsbourg's poetry.
