Come and enjoy a convivial moment at the feast of Saint Hubert, patron saint of hunters, foresters and hunting dogs.
According to tradition, Hubert was a nobleman with a passion for hunting who, on Good Friday, encountered an extraordinary stag bearing a luminous cross between its antlers. This vision deeply moved him and led him to convert, renounce his worldly life, and devote himself to God.
The feast of Saint Hubert remains very much alive in the forested regions of France. It is marked by blessings of dogs and horses, solemn Masses accompanied by the sounding of hunting horns, and processions.

Today, Saint Hubert’s Day is as much a religious holiday as it is a time of fellowship, when hunters, forest lovers, and local residents come together to share traditions, music, and local cuisine.
