‘The art of dialogue and transcription from Vivaldi to J.S. Bach’
Through the expressive power of their union, the flute and organ, animated by breath, establish a dialogue of obvious harmony and great musicality, playing on the complementarity of timbres, registers and dynamics.

In this programme, which highlights the influence of Italian music, particularly that of Vivaldi, on the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, organist Laurent Fievet, finalist in the Toulouse and Chartres international competitions, winner of the Wasquehal-Saint-Omer international competition, titular organist at the Basilica of Notre-Dame in Nice and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame du Puy in Grasse, will bring the Quoirin organ of the Church of Saint-Michel into dialogue with the flute of Philippe Depetris, founding artistic director of the Soirées Musicales de Grimaud, who occupies a unique place in his career as a performer and man of culture. He is a key figure in musical life and, more broadly, a bridge between works of art and the public.

For your information, this concert was originally scheduled for 13 March. Due to organisational constraints, it had to be rescheduled.
We thank you for your understanding.
