‘From Chopin to Debussy’
Jean-Paul Gasparian is one of the most prestigious pianists whose international career is rapidly ascending.

An exceptional performer, he is also a remarkable conveyor of emotions: ‘Interpretation is a reflection of the musician, his sensitivity and his culture,’ he says. ‘You have to nurture and enrich your sensitivity and never stop developing as a person.’

Now in his thirties, Jean-Paul Gasparian is taking each step in his career at his own pace.
By opening himself up to the world in which he lives, keen on geographical and artistic journeys through philosophy, painting, poetry, literature and cinema, he makes all these aesthetic emotions his own so that he can better convey them when he performs on stage, as he will do when he plays two of his favourite composers, Debussy and Chopin, for the Soirées Musicales de Grimaud.

Organised by the Grimaud Tourist Office.
