Atelier Blu presents its cyanotype work on the theme of the four seasons, inspired by the Mediterranean plant world, in dialogue with the sculptural works of artist Cécile de Kock.
L'Atelier BLU was born in Ramatuelle, Provence, to practice the cyanotype technique: an interaction between paper or textile and sunlight that reveals plant or photographic compositions to join the blue of the Provence sky.
The monochromatic nature of this technique allows for a thousand and one shades of blue.

Sculptor on Carrara marble Cécile de Kock shapes the material to reveal its light, tension, softness or strength. Her work draws on the age-old tradition of sculpture, while at the same time inscribing it in a resolutely contemporary language.

Each work is born of a dialogue between the raw block and Her gesture, between the density of marble and the emotion of life. She explores form, line, emptiness and presence to give shape to a sensitive expression, sometimes silent, often vibrant.
