82nd Anniversary of the Landing of Provence and the Allied Forces

Program: 𝟴𝟮th 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗗𝗨 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘
To mark the 82nd anniversary of the Provence Landings, the town of Plan de la Tour invites you to join us on Saturday, August 15, for an evening of commemoration and fellowship.
Starting at 𝟭𝟳𝗵𝟯𝟬, you can explore an exhibition of vintage military vehicles from World War II at the Écoles and on Avenue Général Leclerc.
The ceremony will begin at 𝟭𝟴𝗵𝟰𝟱 with the laying of a wreath at the memorial to Mr. Charles Ollivier, at the Foyer des Campagnes, before continuing at 𝟭𝟵𝗵𝟭𝟱 to the War Memorial on Place de la Victoire.
At 𝟭𝟵𝗵𝟰𝟱, military vehicles will parade through the village streets.
