Sold out - Les Dimanches de la scène - "Knock"

Knock, an ambiguous-looking doctor, has bought out Dr. Parpalaid's almost non-existent clientele. He gradually instils a sense of fear in the picturesque inhabitants of the village of Saint-Maurice and the entire region, bringing them under the sway of medicine and its authority by applying a "method" destined to make his fortune: convincing the population that everyone in good health is a sick person who doesn't know it and finding the imaginary illness from which they suffer. This disinfecting work should be reimbursed by the social security system, as it denounces practices and abuses that are still relevant today, fuelled by the desire for health and the youthful media.
