80th anniversary of the Provence D-Day

Come celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Provence Landings in Grimaud on August 15, 2024! For this anniversary, Grimaud invites you to honour the memory of our veterans and all those who took part in the landings.

The day begins with ceremonies: we look forward to seeing you at Port Grimaud, at the Liberation traffic circle and at the Monument aux Morts (village) for the commemorations. (Schedules to come).

This is followed by a festive evening in the village church square, with a concert by the Satin Doll Sisters at 9pm.

A retro vocal group made up exclusively of female voices, embodying the glamour and femininity so characteristic of the 40s, and a blend of powerful vocals and aestheticism, for a unique trip back in time!

On-site catering will be available from 8 p.m. to make the most of the evening.

Finally, for fireworks lovers, the day's finale will take place on the beach at Port Grimaud for the traditional August 15 fireworks display.
