Developed by textile engineer Jean Lauer who bought the company in 1928, La Manufacture Cogolin manufactures exceptional rugs with unique know-how, on looms that date back to the 19th century.
His carpets can be found at the Château de Versailles, at the Elysée, in French and foreign embassies all over the world, as well as on yachts and in exceptional hotels and residences.

Rich in its historical collaborations with renowned artists and decorators such as Jules Leleu, Jean-Michel Frank, Christian Bérard, Sir David Hicks or Jean Cocteau who designed models that established the brand's reputation, the company remains relevant with contemporary collaborations with designers such as India Mahdavi, Charles Zana and Elliott Barnes.
