Bateau École Maximois, located in the port of Sainte-Maxime, offers its expertise in training to provide its clients with a wide range of boating courses along the beautiful French Riviera. Although our facilities were completely renovated in 2026, it is our team’s more than 25 years of expertise and passion for the nautical world that unite us in a warm, friendly, and trusting atmosphere. If you’d like to obtain a coastal, inland waterway, or offshore boating license, you’ve come to the right place.
But what distinguishes these three licenses?
– The coastal license: This license allows you to operate a boat or personal watercraft and navigate at sea up to 6 miles from a safe harbor (approximately 11 km).
– The inland waterways license: This license allows you to navigate rivers, canals, and lakes.
– The offshore license: This is an extension of the coastal license that allows you to navigate at sea without any distance restrictions.
