Also known as the "breadfruit tree", the chestnut is an integral part of the local landscape. Favored and exploited by man for many centuries, it has been one of the food resources of the rural populations of the Maures.
Accompanied by a chestnut grower, you'll stroll among the trunks of century-old chestnut trees. But what's a chestnut doing in the heart of a chestnut grove?
