Saint-Tropez Traditions and folklore Commemoration - parade - Fireworks

All season long, the town of Saint-Tropez will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Provence landings and the liberation of Saint-Tropez on August 15, 1944.

From Wednesday 14 to Thursday 15 August 2024.

Monday 14th August
- 3.30 pm: Parade of military vehicles from the Second World War, quai Suffren - place des Lices
- 9.00 pm: Popular ball, Place de la Mairie
- 22h00: Mass of remembrance and gratitude, Sainte-Anne Chapel.
- 23h30 : Fireworks, Môle Jean-Réveille

Tuesday 15 August
Patriotic ceremonies
- 9:30am: Provence Landing ceremony at the Monument de la Libération (Jardin de la Salle Jean Despas).
- 9:45am: Procession to the Allied Marines stele.
- 10.00am: Ceremony at the Allied Marines stele.
Afterwards, refreshment will be served on the Promenade des Marines Alliées.
