Richesses nocturnes : Soirée de la lune

As dusk sets in, Gigaro beach is transformed into a veritable open-air observatory. At the entrance to the Domaine du Cap Lardier, come and enjoy an evening dedicated to the Moon, the stars and the stories that people have been telling since time immemorial as they gaze up at the sky.
In collaboration with Port-Cros National Park, the La Croix-Valmer Tourist Office is offering four events to explore the night in all its facets.

🌙 Myths beneath the Milky Way – with Florent Beau
Settle down beneath the starry sky and listen to the stories, myths and legends that have accompanied humankind in their discovery of the heavens. An invitation to look at the stars in a new light and to journey between imagination and astronomy.

🌿 Meet-up with a Port-Cros National Park ranger
Come and chat with a park ranger and discover the unexpected wonders of the night in protected natural areas. A special opportunity to gain a better understanding of nocturnal biodiversity and the challenges involved in preserving natural darkness.
