Christel Leleu is an artist based in Tourrettes in the Var region, where she opened her studio, Figures Vives, in 2011. For over 20 years, she has been exploring various artistic techniques, including ink, watercolor, acrylic, and charcoal. Her work focuses particularly on the expression of life; she explores the vitality of faces and bodies—human, animal, and plant—through a spontaneous, sensitive, and expressive approach.

As an educator passionate about sharing her knowledge, she regularly leads workshops to introduce the public to artistic techniques, particularly charcoal drawing, which she loves for its instinctive, playful, and accessible nature.
