From the classics of French chanson, from Brel to Brassens, Julie loves the jazz of Nougaro, but also that of Camille Bertault... From the romantic ballad like an Englishwoman in Paris, to the classy medium swing of Ella and Louis, to the wild up swing of Harry Conick Jr. She explores jazz instinctively, leaving my ear to pick up the pace, and adding a touch of modernity, the kind that inspires her in Cécile McLorin, or Samara Joy. Julie also interprets songs from Latin music, mainly from Brazil, that make you dance and sing. So you'll hear eternal bossa nova with smooth melodies and other pieces with rhythms derived from choro, baiao and samba.
