Artisanal jam-making workshop at Château Rose

During this workshop, you will be guided step by step and will play an active part in making jam – from cutting up the fruit to filling the jars, designing your own labels, calculating the sugar content and the percentage of fruit and sugar in your jam, and learning many other tips and secrets that will enable you to make simple or elaborate jams in your own kitchen.

The workshops take place on the panoramic terrace of the Le Château Rose**** hotel, located in Grimaud, where a continental breakfast will be served.

Course available for 4 to 6 participants:

Level 1 workshop: beginners or refresher course: single-fruit jam – €50 + breakfast €15 (coffee or tea – pastries – fresh fruit juice)

Schedule for Level 1 Workshop
- 8.55 am: arrival on site
- 9.00 am to 9.25 am: breakfast
- 9.30 am: start of the workshop
- 10.30 am: end of the workshop
With the option to book lunch through the catering service

Level 2 Workshop: these will be introduced next spring, featuring new varieties of seasonal fruit.

Each participant will receive a full set of personal equipment for the session: a copper saucepan, a gas hob, a chopping board, scales, a spoon, knives and a spatula, and other necessary equipment and utensils, as well as 1 apron, 2 oven gloves and disposable gloves.

You’ll go home with 2 jars of your own jam.
