NIRVANA - Festival of Indian Culture & Cinema in Saint-Tropez

Proud of the links that have united it with India since the 19th century, the City of Saint-Tropez, in partnership with the Indian Embassy in France, wished to organise a festival that would focus on cinema, music, dance and gastronomy.

From Friday 31 May to Sunday 2 June 2024.

Friday, May 31

- 6:00 pm: Dance performance "From the Temple to Indian Cinema" by Ragunath Manet - Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- 8:00 pm: opening cocktail - Parvis de la Renaissance
- 9:00 pm: screening of Retour à Pondichery in the presence of director Raghunath Manet - Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance

Saturday June 1st

- 10:00 am: stroll by Ragunath Manet's troupe - Vieux-Port (from the Capitainerie to La Pesquière)
- 10:30 am: Indian Friendship - Square Allard
- 11h00: yoga initiation by Praveen Bisht, yoga teacher for the subtle body + ayurvedic refreshments - La Pesquière
- 2:00 pm: Parched screening with director Leena Yadav - Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- 2:00 pm: Intuitive dance to Indian music - workshop (young audience) - BMJ
- 4:30pm: Fashion show by Maison Deeya - Salle Jean Despas
- 6:00 pm: Carnacatit vocalist by the Bhavana Pradyumna troupe in the presence of the director - Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- 6:30 pm: Welcome by His Excellency Jawed ASHRAF and Mayor Sylvie SIRI - Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- 7:00 pm: 2018 screening: Everyone is a Hero
in the presence of director Jude Anthony Joseph Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- followed by a cocktail reception prepared by Siva from Restaurant Gandhi - Maison des Aînés

Sunday June 2nd

- 5:30 pm: screening of the film Swades in the presence of director Ashutosh Gowariker Théâtre-Cinéma La Renaissance
- followed by an Indian cocktail
