Moulin de Paillas wheat mill

Historic site and monument

Back list
The ruins of these 4 windmills, one of which is owned by the Regional Civil Aviation Authority, dominate the village of Ramatuelle. One of these mills shows traces of restoration on the jambs and on the brick lintels full of its openings.

These mills owe their name to Jean-Baptiste Paillas, a miller in Ramatuelle at the end of the 18th century.

Their site offers a magnificent panorama which allows to discover the beaches of Pampelonne in Ramatuelle and Gigaro in La Croix-Valmer.
