The coastal licence allows you to operate a motorboat or personal watercraft and navigate at sea up to six nautical miles (approximately 11 kilometres) from the coast. - Inland Waterways Licence: allows you to navigate rivers, canals and lakes. - Offshore licence: an extension of the coastal licence that lets you navigate at sea with no distance limits.
