Les Dames de Saint-Tropez - Régate

SET COURSE FOR LES DAMES DE SAINT-TROPEZ LA MER - APRIL 26-28, 2024
C'est pas l'homme qui prend la mer, c'est Les Dames de Saint-Tropez La Mer! This is one of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez's flagship events, featuring women at the helm and aboard some of the finest traditional sailing yachts in the Mediterranean!

This invitational event, which this year will take place over three days of racing from April 26 to 28, 2024, is marked by the presence of a new partner in the image of this beautiful event full of charm and elegance: LA MER.
A beautiful alliance where femininity and beauty mingle with respect for the environment and the preservation of the seabed, as defended by LA MER.

Renamed Les Dames de Saint-Tropez La Mer, and after a few last-minute cancellations, the event will welcome some fifteen classic yachts to the mythical Port of Saint-Tropez.
The regatta opens the annual classic sailing season, the first event on the AFYT (Association Française des Yachts de Tradition) calendar.

Under the control of a Race Committee led by Alice Coquant, and divided into two groups, this year's competitors will sail for 3 days (instead of two). Weather permitting, the start of the regattas will take place in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez on Friday April 26, Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28.

In the running will be the majestic 1909 15mJI aurique TUIGA from Monaco, the famous 1929 Bermudan ketch BELLE AVENTURE, the splendid 1968 ketch EUGENIA V, the small 1897 aurique cutter LULU, the formidable 1969 cutter MARIA GIOVANNA, as well as other regulars; ESPAR II, ST CHRISTOPHER, NIN, RATAFIA and newcomers HARLEKIN, BRISEIS or the pretty 1965 auric cutter SERENADE with the 100% female crew previously aboard the multi-victory sailing yacht EVA...

On board, more than one hundred and fifty female crew members, who are not lacking in sportiness and enthusiasm, particularly during the festivities when it has become customary (or costume) for each crew to adorn themselves.

On land, spectators will be able to admire the yachts and their funny ladies in the Port of Saint-Tropez. The festive program will bring participants together in a convivial atmosphere before the prize-giving ceremony on Sunday April 28.

- 9:30 am: Mandatory briefing for the skipper at Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez
- 12 p.m.: Check-in at the start area
- 7:30 pm: Welcome cocktail at the Club House of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez
Saturday April 29, 2023 :
- 11am: Pick-up at the start area
- 8:00 pm: Crew party (venue to be confirmed)
Sunday April 30, 2023:
- 11am: Check-in at the start area
- 5pm: Prize-giving ceremony at the Club House of the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez
