Exposition du Lavoir Vasserot - Katja Lumpe

Exhibition

Saint-Tropez
Katja Lumpe is a German painter specializing in abstract painting. Influenced by the colors, contrasts and light of southern France, she conveys her emotions through her abstract art, much to the delight of art lovers and collectors alike. Katja Lumpe is an artist at heart. Her works are described as "characters", subtly evoking an atmosphere of strength, lightness and harmony.

Inspired by nature and the universe in all its splendid forms, undulating reliefs and luminous, intense colors, she fully identifies with her creative visions through the expression of a free spirit.

Beyond the depth of his works and their symbolic significance, his independent spirit is undoubtedly one of his most obvious traits.
His works are a reflection of this pure freedom and of a life overflowing with richness.

The art studies that Katja Lumpe was spontaneously led to follow have not shaped or formatted her. Above all, they enabled her to develop her skills and perfect her many creative techniques.

It was in 2014, when she moved to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, that her inspirations and expressions came to life in her unique and recognizable style.
Being an artist "is something that stays with you all your life".

Katja is constantly seeking to evolve, to familiarize herself with new media and to refine her creations using materials such as gold, silver, coral powder, patinas and much more. Her desire to create has always been present.

Whether in New York, Paris, Monaco, Nice or Saint-Tropez, Katja Lumpe now travels to exhibitions, fairs and festivals dedicated to contemporary art. She has won several awards, including 1st prize from the town of Saint-Tropez.
